This August, Kansas Democrats will pick their candidate to run against Ron Estes in the Fourth District Congressional race. This is our one chance to make sure we have someone who can win and represent Kansas values in Congress. But the Democrats want to go with establishment candidates who can't win against a Republican, including a candidate who just moved here.
We need your vote to change the tide. During the primary you can go to your voting site and declare that same day as a Democrat. That will let you then vote for Ryan in the primary, the only candidate who can actually beat Ron Estes. Then, on September 1, 2026, you can unaffiliate and remain that way moving forward.

Chris moved to Kansas in August of 2025. Chris has owned the same home in Florida since 2005, and moved there after getting out of the military in 2023. Chris chose to work remotely for a Kansas company and live in Florida. When he says he moved to Kansas as fast as he could, it's not true. Chris' military service is not enough to overcome his Roger Marshall problem in the general election. In addition, Chris' boss has donated tens of thousands of dollars to Ron Estes.
Katy grew up in Oregon, went to Stanford for undergrad and law school in Maryland. A Washington DC insider, she didn't move to Kansas until in her 30s. She's a liberal gun control activist that will not appeal to the red state voters in Kansas in a general election. Katy waited until March to jump into this race, switching to Democrat from Independent.
